Masai Mara: Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi – Masai Mara

Today you will be picked from your hotel or at the airport on your arrival and drive to Masai Mara Game reserve arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 3:30pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm. Masai Mara is a home for the big 5, which includes Lions, cheetah, Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos. Leopard, gnus, zebras, antelopes, dik dik are among the wildlife here and hundreds of bird life. Dinner and Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 2Masai Mara

You will spend the whole day game viewing with breakfast and lunch. With the help of our professional driver guides, you will be able to enjoy the safari with information on flora and fauna. Masai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Diner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 3Masai Mara

Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30am to 8:00am. This is a good time to catch the rising sun. After breakfast you may choose to have packed lunch so that you can spend the whole in the bush game viewing. Diner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp

Day 4Masai Mara – Nairobi

Today is your last day in this magnificent park. You will have an early morning game drive from 6:30am to 8:30am then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast pack your belongings and drive to Nairobi with lunch on the way. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the hotel or a. the airport for your flight back home.
