6 Days Nakuru-Masai Mara. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.
Lake Nakuru is home to a wide variety of water birds including thousands of flamingos, swan, pelicans and other birds. To be seen in Lake Nakuru include leopards, lions, Rhino and Buffalo and other plains game except elephant. A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction.

On your arrival you will be met at the international airport and transferred to Heron Hotel Nairobi for the remaining part of the night, Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Relax until 10:00am then depart for the Shedrack Elephant orphanage for the feeding, Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch you will have a guided tour in Nairobi with a visit to the Giraffe centre and the Karen Blixen museum. Diner and overnight at the Heron Hotel (B,B)
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru for game viewing then lunch, after lunch proceed with game viewing from 4pm until 6pm. Today you will have an early morning breakfast then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Through the Great Rift Valley. On arrival at Masai Mara you will proceed to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm then embark on the afternoon game drive until 6:30pm. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place the annual wildebeests migration, following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or Ashnil Mara Camp

Today you will have an early morning game viewing from 6:30am to 8:30am then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will drive to Nairobi with lunch on route. After lunch proceed to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
