3 Days Taita Hills Amboseli: Taita Hills is a private game sanctuary. The reserve contains some fantastic terrain, including rivers, tarns, glaciers, and peaks with a wide variety of vegetation, including grasslands, acacia vegetation, open plains and savanna. You can view a variety of animals at the park, including elephant, lion, leopard, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards.
Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.
You will be picked from your hotel early in the morning at 5:00am and drive to Taita Hills, arriving in time for game drive on route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm. Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30 am until 8:00 am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 3:30pm then proceed with game drive until 6.30pm then back to the camp for refreshing and preparing for diner.
Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. There are about 900 elephants in the park. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon. You will also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or any other lodge
Early morning game drive at 6:30am followed by a breakfast at 8:00am. After breakfast you will check out of the camp and drive to Mombasa with lunch on route. Arrive at your hotel at around 5pm.
