4 Days Tsavo East – Amboseli : Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Itinerary

Day 1Diani Beach – Tsavo East – 4 Days Tsavo East - Amboseli

You will be picked from your hotel early in the morning at 6:00am and drive to Tsavo East National Park arriving in good time for the mid morning game drive. Lunch at the Lodge while watching animals drinking water at the water hole.

After lunch proceed with game drive from 3.30pm until 6.30pm with chances of seeing some of the big 5 and many other animals. Diner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge

Day 2TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI - 4 Days Tsavo East - Amboseli

Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30 am until 8:00 am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a short game drive en-route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch proceed with game drive from 3:30pm until 6.30pm.

Amboseli offers an interesting contrast in appearance. It has a somewhat dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. Mt.Kilimanjaro is located just about 25 miles away. The park was opened to visitors in April 1948.

Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. There are about 900 elephants in the park. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo. . Dinner and Overnight at AA Amboseli lodge

Day 3AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST – 4 Days Tsavo East - Amboseli

Early morning game drive from 6:30am followed by a breakfast at 8:00am. After breakfast proceed with game drive en-route to Tsavo west. Arriving in time for a short game drive on route to the lodge for Lunch. After lunch you will relax until 3:30pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6.30pm.

You can enjoy exploring the Chaimu volcanic crater and the Mzima springs. You can also explore the Shetani Lava Flow and a variety of caves in the park. The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is another safe haven for rhinos. Finally, the park offers excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Diner and Overnight at Ngulia safari Lodge

Day 4TSAVO WEST – MOMBASA

Early morning game drive at 6:30am followed by a breakfast at 8:00am. After breakfast proceed with game drive with a visit to the Mzima Springs, a major attraction here, there is a pool of natural spring water coming from underground with an underwater viewing tank from which you can observe the hippos, fish and crocodiles.

After Mzima springs, you will proceed with game drive on route to voi town for lunch. After lunch drive back to Mombasa, arriving in your hotel in the evening.
