Pick up from your hotel and be driven to Tsavo East National Park. You will enter the park through Bachuma Gate then proceed with game drive until lunch time.
Lunch at the lodge or Camp. After lunch you will have another game drive from 3:30pm until 6:30pm searching for Big game and the red elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other animals including the cat’s family.
Tsavo East National Park is located approximately 120 Km from Mombasa. You can view a variety of animals at the park, including elephant, lion, leopard, crocodile, water-buck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra and Aruba Hunter’s hartebeest.
You will also see the large herds of red elephants- they glow red due to red dust of Tsavo. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards. Dinner and overnight at Voi safari lodge or simillar.
Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30 am until 8:00 am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and depart for Tsavo west National Park, arriving in time for a short game drive en-route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch proceed with game drive from 3:30pm until 6.30pm.
Animals include the leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dikdik and porcupine.
The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is another safe haven for rhinos. Finally, the park offers excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro.Diner and Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge or simillar
Early morning game drive at 6:30am followed by a breakfast at 8:00am. After breakfast drive to Mzima Springs, a water pool where you can view crodiles, hippos and fish from this fresh water springs from mount Kilimanjaro then drive to Ziwani Camp for Lunch.
Once the site for the German Schutztruppe garrison in the First World War, Voyager Ziwani is today famous for being in ‘big game country’ that is one of the biggest national parks in the world, Tsavo West.
Filled with a rich tapestry of volcanic upheavals like the Roaring Rocks and the volcanic rubble heap that is Chaimu, the land is as diverse as its wildlife – the red elephants of Tsavo and descendents of the infamous man-eating lions share the savanna grasslands with the Fringe-eared orxy of the thorn filled scrub while the crocodiles and hippos while away time in the cool waters of the crystal clear Mzima springs and the rivers that course through. Enjoy another nature walk before breakfast observing animals in the cool morning. After breakfast at the camp leave the sanctuary and drive back to mombasa where you will arrive in the afternoon. You will be droped off at your hotel.
