4 Days lake Nakuru and Masai Mara from Nairobi
Nakuru Maasai Mara: On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking,picnic and game drives.
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara – Nakuru Maasai Mara
You will be picked from Nairobi hotel or at the airport on your arrival for a Masai Mara safari briefing then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve through the Great Rift Valley.
On arrival at Masai Mara you will proceed to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm then embark on the afternoon game drive until 6:30pm.
You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp
Day 2: Maasai Mara
Today you will have an early morning game drive from 6:30am to 8:00am time for breakfast at the lodge, after breakfast proceed for a day of game and sightseeing with your safari guide. Din er and overnight at the lodge or camp
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30am then breakfast at 8:am. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru for lunch while on the highway Mount Longonot
You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe that has five horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks.
A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp
Day 4. Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Nakuru Maasai Mara.
Today you will have an early morning game viewing from 6:30am to 8:30am then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will drive to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice or at the airport for your onward flight.
