Full Day Kikuletwa hotsprings. A little oasis just a short drive off the main road between Moshi and Arusha, the Kikuletwa hotsprings are the perfect place to relaxand one of the best things to do in Arusha and Moshi area. And as it’s not only the destination that counts, the journey up to the hot springs is one to remember as well. Several roads lead here and we’ll pick the best one according to the time of the year. You’ll drive through sunflower fields in May and June and through a sea of red flowers and sugar cane at the end of the year, at TPC sugar plantation, Moshi. And on clear days, you’re in for some beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, no matter what month it is.

Trasnsfer from Moshi or Arusha hotel  early in the morning at 8am.  Stop at  Rundugai Village for a village tour, walk around the village with a local guide to learn the daily socio-economic activities of different ethnic groups co-existing in one village. This includes visiting a Maasai Market (only Mondays), local brewery to learn how locals make their beer and wines, visit a Midwife, Herbalist, local weavers, local farmers.

Get to know the interesting history of the Germany administration in Rundugai village by visiting the natural caves which was used to hide their equipment’s such as blasting used during construction of Tanga to Arusha colonial railway. Before lunch you visit the Kikuletwa Hot spring for swimming.

Kikuletwa Hot Spring, Water is not hot as expected but relatvely warm. (Chemka Maji-Moto) Tour swim and relax, we will have a Picnik lunch (meat or fish or both. Local lunch is prepared by women group and includes traditional organic food, mostly grown in Rundugai village. Late in the afternoon around 4pm drive to Arusha hotel for diner and overnight.

Transport in a safari van or a seven seater private vehicle, all relevant fees, lunch, guide  and bottled drinking water.
