5 DAYS NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI – TAITAHILL – MOMBASA

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

You will be picked from your hotel  or airport for briefing then depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for a short game drive on route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm then back to the lodge for diner. 

Lake Nakuru is home to a wide variety of water birds including thousands of flamingoes, swan, pelicans and other birds. To be seen in Lake Nakuru include leopards, lions, Rhino and Buffalo and other plains game except elephant. Nakuru National Park, which has a fantastic array of bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork, all water birds, that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters. You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe that has five horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs). A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

 

Day 2. Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

Today you will have an early morning game viewing from6:30am to 8am then breakfast. After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax by the pool or take a walk to the beach. Here you can opt for a boat ride at extra cost or you go to hells gate national park. Diner and overnight at the lodge or camp

 

Day 3. Lake Naivasha  – Nairobi – Amboseli

After breakfast you will leave Naivasha and drive to Amboseli through Nairobi, arriving Amboseli in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm.

Amboseli offers an interesting contrast in appearance. It has a somewhat dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. Mt Kilimanjaro is located just about 25 miles away.  The park was opened to visitors in April 1948. Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. There are about 900 elephants in the park. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon. You will also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.Dinner and Overnight at the lodge or camp

 

Day 4. Amboseli – Taita Hills

Today you will have an early morning game drive at 6:30am until 8am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will drive to Taita Hills arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm then back to the lodge for diner.Taita Hills Game Reserve is on the side of Tsavo West, It is managed privately by Sarova hotels.  it is l ocated at 210 km from Mombasa and one of the best game parks in Kenya. The reserve contains some fantastic terrain, including rivers, tarns, glaciers, and peaks with a wide variety of vegetation, including grasslands, acacia vegetation, open plains and savanna. You can view a variety of animals at the park, including elephant, lion, leopard, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards. Dinner and overnight at  Saltlick lodge

 

Day 5. Taita Hills – Mombasa

Today you will have an early morning game drive from 6:30am until 8:00am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will have game drive on route to the park gate then drive to Mombasa with lunch on the way. Arrive Mombasa or Diani Beach in the evening. You will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice.
