You will be picked from the ship in the morning at 8:30 am and drive to Shimba hills National park for game viewing with a guided walk to the shedrick falls. Shimba Hills National Reserve is a small National Park in the Coast Province of Kenya, 40 km from Mombasa and 25 km from Diani.

The reserve is an area of coastal rain-forest, woodland and grassland. It is an important area for plant biodiversity – over 50% of the 159 rare plants in Kenya are found in the Shimba Hills, including some endangered species of cycad and orchids. It is also a nationally important site for birds and butterflies.

Shimba Hills contains Kenya’s only population of Sable Antelopes and  Buffaloes. There are about 100 here.Then proceed to KUTAZAMA for the best view of the landscape. Lunch at Shimba Lodge the only tree hotel at the coast. After lunch you will proceed with game drive until late afternoon then drive back to Mombasa arriving at the ship at around 6 or 6.30pm.
